European comedy-eTwinning project 2011/2012: Dance lessons for traditional national dances

The contest

Contest for creation of original comedy in English between
five European schools from five different countries :Bulgaria, United Kingdom, Hungary, Cyprus and Italy.The contest was open in November 2011 and the dead line for the creation of the original comedies was April 2012.Then in Harrogate, United Kingdom, at 26 April 2012, all partner’s schools performed their originaly created plays in front of the partners’ teams and local audience.After the five performances, the partners teams chose via voting the best original project comedy.

During the partners meetings, every partner thought other partners to dance one national traditional dance.

FIve schools created original comedies comedy

EUROPEAN COMEDY

Five schools from five different European countries gathered around the idea to Explore the European Culture Through Comedy. Five Original comedies in English language were created by the partner’s schools for the project contest for the best original play. Each partner presented its own original comedy as a performance during the partners meeting in Harrogate, United Kingdom on 26 of April 2012 in front of the local audience and partners teams.All partners performances were just great and were filmed and were collected in DVD album and shared between the partners and local media, uploaded on the web page and project twin space. After the performances,the partners selected via voting one of them as the best original project comedy. The winner of the project contest is the Bulgarian original play presented by SOU "Ekzarh Antim I", Kazanlak, Bulgaria. All materials created during the project – movies.
